📤 How to Enter

Email your submissions to: contests@lionsvirtual.org

Please include:

• Your full name

• Your email address

• Your Lions Club, District, or Organization (if applicable)

• Your front and back sweatshirt design (see design requirements below)

You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours.

🖌️ Design Requirements

To ensure your design can be printed as a real “Ugly Sweater” sweatshirt:

File Specifications

• Front design: 34″ x 44″

• Back design: 34″ x 44″

• Resolution: Minimum 150 DPI (300 DPI preferred)

• File types accepted: PNG, JPG, or PDF

• Color mode: RGB or sRGB preferred

Design Guidelines

• Must reflect the contest theme: Courage, Compassion, Community + Holiday Spirit

• Must be original artwork

• Humor, creativity, and bold ideas are encouraged

• No copyrighted characters, logos, or artwork

• No political content, offensive themes, or inappropriate imagery

• AI tools may be used only if the final result is your own creative composition

🗳️ How Voting Works

• All approved entries will be posted on the Lions USA and Lions Virtual Facebook pages.

• Voting is based on total Facebook “likes” across both pages.

• Likes will be counted until November 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST.

• Any use of bot voting, fake accounts, or manipulating likes will result in disqualification.

🏆 Prizes

Top 3 Winning Designers Receive:

• Their sweaters professionally produced and sold on the Servant Hero Store

• All proceeds from sales go to Lions USA under the designer’s name

• A Servant Hero Prize Package

• Featured recognition on:

  • Lions USA Facebook

  • Lions Virtual Facebook

  • Lions Virtual programming & promotions

• Sweaters will remain available for purchase through the 2025 holiday season

⚖️ Eligibility

• Open to Lions, Leos, and supporters age 13 and older

• No purchase necessary

• Contest is open worldwide

🔒 Originality & Rights

By submitting artwork:

• You confirm the design is your original creation

• You retain copyright ownership

• You grant Lions Virtual, Servant Hero, and Lions USA the rights to:

  • Reproduce the design

  • Distribute the design

  • Modify for printing (minor adjustments only)

  • Sell the design as part of the fundraiser

• Designers will be credited appropriately

🧵 Design Modifications

Servant Hero may adjust submitted designs only as needed for:

• Print alignment

• Scaling

• Color matching

• Seam corrections
  These changes will not alter the core artistic integrity of your submission.

🚫 Prohibited Content

Entries will be disqualified if they include:

• Copyrighted/protected characters or logos

• Political messaging or endorsements

• Hate speech, violence, or offensive imagery

• Anything inconsistent with Lions Clubs International ethics & values

✉️ Winner Notification

• Winners will be contacted directly at the email used for submission

• If a winner does not respond within 72 hours, the next highest-voted entry may be selected

• Prize packages will ship by late December 2025

📜 Liability & Release

By entering this contest, participants agree to:

• Release Lions USA, Lions Virtual, Servant Hero, and their affiliates from any claims relating to:

  • Participation

  • Ownership disputes

  • Merchandise sales

  • Technical errors or interruptions

• Allow their name, design, and likeness to be used for promotional purposes without additional compensation
